1 Amaziah558 was twenty6242 and five2568 years8141 old1121 when he began to reign,4427 and he reigned4427 twenty6242 and nine8672 years8141 in Jerusalem.3389 And his mother's517 name8034 was Jehoaddan3086 of Jerusalem.4480 3389

2 And he did6213 that which was right3477 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 but7535 not3808 with a perfect8003 heart.3824

|
|
3 Now it came to pass,1961 when834 the kingdom4467 was established2388 to5921 him, that he slew2026 853 his servants5650 that had killed5221 853 the king4428 his father.1

3 Когда утвердилось2388 за ним царство,4467 тогда он умертвил2026 рабов5650 своих, убивших5221 царя,4428 отца1 его.

4 But he slew4191 not3808 their children,1121 but3588 did as it is written3789 in the law8451 in the book5612 of Moses,4872 where834 the LORD3068 commanded,6680 saying,559 The fathers1 shall not3808 die4191 for5921 the children,1121 neither3808 shall the children1121 die4191 for5921 the fathers,1 but3588 every man376 shall die4191 for his own sin.2399

4 Но детей1121 их не умертвил,4191 так как написано3789 в законе,8451 в книге5612 Моисеевой,4872 где заповедал6680 Господь,3068 говоря:559 не должны4191 быть4191 умерщвляемы4191 отцы1 за детей,1121 и дети1121 не должны4191 быть4191 умерщвляемы4191 за отцов,1 но каждый376 за свое преступление2399 должен4191 умереть.4191

5 Moreover Amaziah558 gathered Judah together,6908 853 3063 and made5975 them captains8269 over thousands,505 and captains8269 over hundreds,3967 according to the houses1004 of their fathers,1 throughout all3605 Judah3063 and Benjamin:1144 and he numbered6485 them from twenty6242 years8141 old4480 1121 and above,4605 and found4672 them three7969 hundred3967 thousand505 choice977 men, able to go forth3318 to war,6635 that could handle270 spear7420 and shield.6793

5 И собрал6908 Амасия558 Иудеев3063 и поставил5975 их по поколениям10041 под власть тысяченачальников8269505 и стоначальников,82693967 всех Иудеев3063 и Вениаминян,1144 и пересчитал6485 их от двадцати6242 лет81411121 и выше,4605 и нашел4672 их триста79693967 тысяч505 человек отборных,977 ходящих3318 на войну,6635 держащих270 копье7420 и щит.6793

6 He hired7936 also a hundred3967 thousand505 mighty men1368 of valor2428 out of Israel4480 3478 for a hundred3967 talents3603 of silver.3701

6 И еще нанял7936 из Израильтян3478 сто3967 тысяч505 храбрых1368 воинов2428 за сто3967 талантов3603 серебра.3701
|
|
7 But there came935 a man376 of God430 to413 him, saying,559 O king,4428 let not408 the army6635 of Israel3478 go935 with5973 thee; for3588 the LORD3068 is not369 with5973 Israel,3478 to wit, with all3605 the children1121 of Ephraim.669
|
7 Но человек376 Божий430 пришел935 к нему и сказал:559 царь!4428 пусть не идет935 с тобою войско6635 Израильское,3478 потому что нет Господа3068 с Израильтянами,3478 со всеми сынами1121 Ефрема.669
|

8 But3588 if518 thou859 wilt go,935 do6213 it, be strong2388 for the battle:4421 God430 shall make thee fall3782 before6440 the enemy:341 for3588 God430 hath3426 power3581 to help,5826 and to cast down.3782
|
8 Но иди935 ты один, делай6213 дело, мужественно2388 подвизайся2388 на войне.4421 Иначе повергнет3782 тебя Бог430 пред3942 лицем3942 врага,341 ибо есть3426 сила3581 у Бога430 поддержать5826 и повергнуть.3782
|

9 And Amaziah558 said559 to the man376 of God,430 But what4100 shall we do6213 for the hundred3967 talents3603 which834 I have given5414 to the army1416 of Israel?3478 And the man376 of God430 answered,559 The LORD3068 is3426 able to give5414 thee much more7235 than this.4480 2088

9 И сказал559 Амасия558 человеку376 Божию:430 что же делать6213 со ста3967 талантами,3603 которые я отдал5414 войску1416 Израильскому?3478 И сказал559 человек376 Божий:430 может Господь3068 дать5414 тебе более7235 сего.

10 Then Amaziah558 separated914 them, to wit, the army1416 that834 was come935 to413 him out of Ephraim,4480 669 to go1980 home4725 again: wherefore their anger639 was greatly3966 kindled2734 against Judah,3063 and they returned7725 home4725 in great2750 anger.639

10 И отделил914 их Амасия,558 — войско,1416 пришедшее935 к нему из земли Ефремовой,669 — чтоб они шли3212 в свое место.4725 И возгорелся2734 сильно3966 гнев639 их на Иудею,3063 и они пошли7725 назад7725 в свое место,4725 в пылу2750 гнева.639

11 And Amaziah558 strengthened himself,2388 and led forth5090 853 his people,5971 and went1980 to the valley1516 of salt,4417 and smote5221 853 of the children1121 of Seir8165 ten6235 thousand.505

11 А Амасия558 отважился2388 и повел5090 народ5971 свой, и пошел3212 на долину1516 Соляную4417 и побил5221 сынов1121 Сеира8165 десять6235 тысяч;505
|
|
12 And other ten6235 thousand505 left alive2416 did the children1121 of Judah3063 carry away captive,7617 and brought935 them unto the top7218 of the rock,5553 and cast them down7993 from the top4480 7218 of the rock,5553 that they all3605 were broken in pieces.1234

12 и десять6235 тысяч505 живых2416 взяли7617 сыны1121 Иудины3063 в плен,7617 и привели935 их на вершину7218 скалы,5553 и низринули7993 их с вершины7218 скалы,5553 и все они разбились1234 совершенно.1234
|

13 But the soldiers1121 of the army1416 which834 Amaziah558 sent back,7725 that they should not go4480 1980 with5973 him to battle,4421 fell upon6584 the cities5892 of Judah,3063 from Samaria4480 8111 even unto5704 Beth-horon,1032 and smote5221 three7969 thousand505 of4480 them, and took962 much7227 spoil.961

13 Войско11211416 же, которое Амасия558 отослал7725 обратно,7725 чтоб оно не ходило3212 с ним на войну,4421 рассыпалось6584 по городам5892 Иудеи3063 от Самарии8111 до Вефорона1032 и перебило5221 в них три7969 тысячи,505 и награбило962 множество7227 добычи.961

14 Now it came to pass,1961 after that310 Amaziah558 was come935 from the slaughter4480 5221 853 of the Edomites,130 that he brought935 853 the gods430 of the children1121 of Seir,8165 and set them up5975 to be his gods,430 and bowed down himself7812 before6440 them, and burned incense6999 unto them.

14 Амасия,558 придя935 после310 поражения5221 Идумеян,130 принес935 богов430 сынов1121 Сеира8165 и поставил5975 их у себя богами,430 и пред3942 ними кланялся7812 и им кадил.6999

15 Wherefore the anger639 of the LORD3068 was kindled2734 against Amaziah,558 and he sent7971 unto413 him a prophet,5030 which said559 unto him, Why4100 hast thou sought after1875 853 the gods430 of the people,5971 which834 could not3808 deliver5337 853 their own people5971 out of thine hand?4480 3027

15 И воспылал2734 гнев639 Господа3068 на Амасию,558 и послал7971 Он к нему пророка,5030 и тот сказал559 ему: зачем ты прибегаешь1875 к богам430 народа5971 сего, которые не избавили5337 народа5971 своего от руки3027 твоей?

16 And it came to pass,1961 as he talked1696 with413 him, that the king said559 unto him, Art thou made5414 of the king's4428 counsel?3289 forbear;2308 why4100 shouldest thou be smitten?5221 Then the prophet5030 forbore,2308 and said,559 I know3045 that3588 God430 hath determined3289 to destroy7843 thee, because3588 thou hast done6213 this,2063 and hast not3808 hearkened8085 unto my counsel.6098

16 Когда он говорил1696 ему, царь отвечал:559 разве советником3289 царским4428 поставили5414 тебя? перестань,2308 чтобы не убили5221 тебя. И перестал2308 пророк,5030 сказав:559 знаю,3045 что решил3289 Бог430 погубить7843 тебя, потому что ты сделал6213 сие и не слушаешь8085 совета6098 моего.

17 Then Amaziah558 king4428 of Judah3063 took advice,3289 and sent7971 to413 Joash,3101 the son1121 of Jehoahaz,3059 the son1121 of Jehu,3058 king4428 of Israel,3478 saying,559 Come,1980 let us see one another7200 in the face.6440

17 И посоветовался3289 Амасия,558 царь4428 Иудейский,3063 и послал7971 к Иоасу,3101 сыну1121 Иоахаза,3059 сына1121 Ииуева,3058 царю4428 Израильскому,3478 сказать:559 выходи,3212 повидаемся7200 лично.6440

18 And Joash3101 king4428 of Israel3478 sent7971 to413 Amaziah558 king4428 of Judah,3063 saying,559 The thistle2336 that834 was in Lebanon3844 sent7971 to413 the cedar730 that834 was in Lebanon,3844 saying,559 Give5414 853 thy daughter1323 to my son1121 to wife:802 and there passed by5674 a wild7704 beast2416 that834 was in Lebanon,3844 and trod down7429 853 the thistle.2336

18 И послал7971 Иоас,3101 царь4428 Израильский,3478 к Амасии,558 царю4428 Иудейскому,3063 сказать:559 терн,2336 который на Ливане,3844 послал7971 к кедру,730 который на Ливане3844 же, сказать:559 отдай5414 дочь1323 свою в жену802 сыну1121 моему. Но прошли5674 звери2416 дикие,7704 которые на Ливане,3844 и истоптали7429 этот терн.2336

19 Thou sayest,559 Lo,2009 thou hast smitten5221 853 the Edomites;123 and thine heart3820 lifteth thee up5375 to boast:3513 abide3427 now6258 at home;1004 why4100 shouldest thou meddle1624 to thine hurt,7451 that thou shouldest fall,5307 even thou,859 and Judah3063 with5973 thee?

19 Ты говоришь:559 вот я побил5221 Идумеян,123 — и вознеслось5375 сердце3820 твое до тщеславия.3513 Сиди3427 лучше у себя дома.1004 К чему тебе затевать1624 опасное7451 дело?7451 Падешь5307 ты и Иудея3063 с тобою.

20 But Amaziah558 would not3808 hear;8085 for3588 it1931 came of God,4480 430 that4616 he might deliver5414 them into the hand3027 of their enemies, because3588 they sought after1875 853 the gods430 of Edom.123

20 Но не послушался8085 Амасия,558 так как от Бога430 было это, дабы предать5414 их в руку3027 Иоаса за то, что стали1875 прибегать1875 к богам430 Идумейским.123
|

21 So Joash3101 the king4428 of Israel3478 went up;5927 and they saw one another7200 in the face,6440 both he1931 and Amaziah558 king4428 of Judah,3063 at Beth-shemesh,1053 which834 belongeth to Judah.3063
|
21 И выступил5927 Иоас,3101 царь4428 Израильский,3478 и увиделись7200 лично,6440 он и Амасия,558 царь4428 Иудейский,3063 в Вефсамисе1053 Иудейском.3063
|
|
22 And Judah3063 was put to the worse5062 before6440 Israel,3478 and they fled5127 every man376 to his tent.168
|
22 И были5062 разбиты5062 Иудеи3063 Израильтянами,3478 и разбежались5127 каждый376 в шатер168 свой.
|
|
23 And Joash3101 the king4428 of Israel3478 took8610 Amaziah558 king4428 of Judah,3063 the son1121 of Joash,3101 the son1121 of Jehoahaz,3059 at Beth-shemesh,1053 and brought935 him to Jerusalem,3389 and broke down6555 the wall2346 of Jerusalem3389 from the gate4480 8179 of Ephraim669 to5704 the corner6438 gate,8179 four702 hundred3967 cubits.520

23 И Амасию,558 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 сына1121 Иоаса,3101 сына1121 Иоахазова,3059 захватил8610 Иоас,3101 царь4428 Израильский,3478 в Вефсамисе1053 и привел935 его в Иерусалим,3389 и разрушил6555 стену2346 Иерусалимскую3389 от ворот8179 Ефремовых669 до ворот8179 угольных,6437 на четыреста7023967 локтей;520

24 And he took all3605 the gold2091 and the silver,3701 and853 all3605 the vessels3627 that were found4672 in the house1004 of God430 with5973 Obed-edom,5654 and the treasures214 of the king's4428 house,1004 853 the hostages1121 8594 also, and returned7725 to Samaria.8111

24 и взял все золото2091 и серебро,3701 и все сосуды,3627 находившиеся4672 в доме1004 Божием430 у Овед-Едома,5654 и сокровища214 дома1004 царского,4428 и заложников,11218594 и возвратился7725 в Самарию.8111

25 And Amaziah558 the son1121 of Joash3101 king4428 of Judah3063 lived2421 after310 the death4194 of Joash3101 son1121 of Jehoahaz3059 king4428 of Israel3478 fifteen2568 6240 years.8141

25 И жил2421 Амасия,558 сын1121 Иоасов,3101 царь4428 Иудейский,3063 по310 смерти4194 Иоаса,3101 сына1121 Иоахазова,3059 царя4428 Израильского,3478 пятнадцать25686240 лет.8141

26 Now the rest3499 of the acts1697 of Amaziah,558 first7223 and last,314 behold,2009 are they not3808 written3789 in5921 the book5612 of the kings4428 of Judah3063 and Israel?3478

27 Now after the time4480 6256 that834 Amaziah558 did turn away5493 from following4480 310 the LORD3068 they made7194 a conspiracy7195 against5921 him in Jerusalem;3389 and he fled5127 to Lachish:3923 but they sent7971 to Lachish3923 after310 him, and slew4191 him there.8033

27 И после того времени,6256 как Амасия558 отступил5493 от310 Господа,3068 составили7194 против него заговор7195 в Иерусалиме,3389 и он убежал5127 в Лахис.3923 И послали7971 за310 ним в Лахис,3923 и умертвили4191 его там.

28 And they brought5375 him upon5921 horses,5483 and buried6912 him with5973 his fathers1 in the city5892 of Judah.3063
